A stroll on the beach #2

Yesterday was a beautiful autumn day
so we decided to head into town and go to the beach.
Well the beach is not in town - just next door.

So we parked here...

mini golf
and walked up there...

until we arrived here.

St Kilda surf life saving club rooms
A short walk along the foot path and we were at the track...

down to the beach.

Which way to go? Right...

or left?

It didn't matter really,

it was just nice to walk on the beach, we haven't done that for a while.

No not a snake, seaweed, haha.
(New Zealand is snake free).
Then it was time to reverse our footsteps...

back past the footy (rugby) fields..

and the childrens' playground and head for home again.

I haven't taken you out for a walk for a while so I hope you enjoyed this one.

Have a good week,

  4. The beach is very pretty, I love to walk along the water but I really don't like getting into it. We will go in April when our grandchildren are out for Spring break.

  5. Diana, when I saw you mention Autumn, I had to remind myself that it IS autumn where you live!! I love the beach! We are heading to Savannah Ga for a wedding this weekend but I have my doubts that we will have time to visit the beach there.

  6. I so miss the coast since we moved to Texas. When I grew up in New Orleans, it was only about 40 mins. away.... and then there was always the Mississippi or Lake Ponchatrain around. Walking or just sitting by the water is psychologically soothing, don't you think?

  7. I thought it was a snake! A walk on the beach sounds delightful but it is still a bit too cold for that around here.

  8. Oh what a nice walk that was. I would have loved to walk there with you. : ) That really did look like a snake - a really big one.

  9. Wow, I thought that was a snake! You made me jump a little bit :)

The walk on the beach would be heavenly right now... it's snowing and raining where I live :) Thanks for sharing with Roses of Inspiration, dear friend. Hugs!

  10. Thank you for visiting me, Diana. It is lovely to visit your blog and I see we share many of the same friends! Your photos are lovely. As much as I look forward to Spring here in Gerogia, my favorite time of year is Autumn - which you are enjoying. I am following along with you now. Mildred

  11. Dearest Diana; I MISS strolling the beach, reminiscent when my father took us to the beach :-) You made me laugh with the snake like seaweed and never knew your country is snake free. Enjoy your comfortable autumn♪♪♪

  14. Hi, I am a new visitor. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk on the beach...especially after I found out that wasn't a snake. I was raised in Georgia and saw some BIG black snakes. I love the beach. Great photos!
